Dr. Mary Zabel

Dr. Mary Zabel is a general dentist and inducted member of the National Dental Honor Society with more than 20 years of experience in the dental field. Her introduction to dentistry began early—assisting in her father’s practice in Johnstown, NY—followed by a career as a dental hygienist before earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University in Phoenix. During dental school she received multiple clinical excellence awards, including recognition from the American Association of Women Dentists for leadership, academic achievement, and outstanding patient care.

Dr. Zabel’s clinical approach blends precision, artistry, and modern technology. With broad experience in restorative dentistry, surgery, endodontics, CAD/CAM workflows, and implant care, she enjoys designing long-term treatment plans that prioritize each patient’s goals and lifestyle.

After what she describes as “getting lost” in Alaska for a year—an adventure filled with unexpected stories—she settled in Missouri, a place that immediately felt like home and reconnected her with her roots. She values the sense of community here and is committed to bringing patients thoughtful, trustworthy, and personalized care.

Dr. Zabel is passionate about creating a practice environment where patients feel genuinely heard and supported—and where the team works hard, has fun, and stays united in providing exceptional dentistry. Outside the office, she enjoys exploring her new home state, staying active, and feeding her creative side through design, art, and good humor.
